TREATING HEMORRHOIDAL DISEASE

.

Treatment will depend on the degree of hemorrhoidal disease and its severity. Lower grades of hemorrhoidal disease can be treated with a high fiber diet, plenty of fluids, and some specific hygiene measures. More advanced grades may require particular medications and even an office procedure such as ligation of the hemorrhoidal bundle or sclerotherapy. The more advanced degrees of hemorrhoidal disease may require surgical management to resect the diseased packages, a procedure that is accompanied by an adequate analgesic scheme to effectively reduce postoperative discomfort.

In case you have discomfort suggestive of hemorrhoidal disease, do not hesitate to go to an expert and trained doctor for its review and management.
